Power Sector Restructuring Phase II Project

MHI provided specialist support and assistance to the implantation of the power sector reforms and restructuring. This included individuals with experience in project planning and management of complex change programs; as well as those covering a broad range of skills in restructuring, management, financial, financial management information system (FMIS), and technical operations in the power sector. More specifically, some of the MHI tasks included:

• Preparing draft functional specifications after reviewing and summarizing the relevant demands to be met by the FMIS
• Proposing general hardware and software specifications for the FMIS solutions
• Reviewing options for procurement of the FMIS, analyzing different approaches, and recommending the system type for procurement
• Assisting in the procurement process, specifically in clarifying bidder’s queries and evaluating bids and technical specifications
