Control Centre Display Screen Development

The British Columbia Transmission Corporation purchased an AREVA Energy Management System (EMS) for the new system control centre being built to replace their existing systems. The new EMS system includes various display screens, used to display the status of the transmission system operated by the British Columbia Transmission Corporation system operators.

MHI was contracted to provide the leadership and supervision for a team of five programmers whose task was to program the various display screens to be used at the new control centre. MHI was selected on the basis of the experience in providing this service to two other utilities.
