National Electric Power Authority (NEPA) Training Program

Manitoba Hydro International developed and delivered an extensive training program to NEPA staff.

The program consisted of:

• Two weeks of management training in Canada for the executive director and 10 of his managers
• Management training for 32 local mangers in Aba, Port Harcourt, and Kano (Aptech)
• Field training to a total of 812 NEPA field employees. This consisted of
  • Lineman training
  • Cable Jointer training
  • Marketer training
  • Electrical Fitter training
  • Environmental Awareness Training
  • Gender Equity Training
  • Computer training to approximately 100 field staff
  • Advanced networking and data base training to three staff
