Repair of Transmission Line Fallen Conductor Training

MHI has been contracted to develop and deliver a training program for the Saudi Electric Company focused on the tools, equipment, and procedures used for restoring a downed transmission line. The course is focused on the repair of a quadruple bundled conductor, but the concepts and training will be applicable for all transmission line configurations. The attendees will have an overall appreciation of the potential hazards associated with downed transmission lines, the efficient development and deployment of an emergency response plan, and the proper and safe use of tools and equipment required to repair a failure on the transmission line.
