Consultancy Services for Implementation of Staff Training Measures for Planning, Operation and Maintenance of Bujagali Hydropower Station

MHI, in association with Nippon Koei UK, created and implemented a training program for Bujagali Energy Limited. The program was implemented to ensure that the staff of BEL in charge of project implementation, as well as operation and maintenance staff, were able to conduct their tasks properly and independently, on a sustainable basis.

The program was implemented in four weeks and covered the topics of environmental and social impact assessments, social monitoring, basic health and safety issues in hydropower plant operation, and dam safety plans.
