Utility Restructuring - Madhya Pradesh State Government

The purpose of MHI’s assistance was to strengthen the Madhra State Electricity Board’s (MPSEB) capacity to participate and engage in the reform process in the most effective manner. It provided mid and senior level management with first-hand knowledge and experience in the governance, management and operations of modern effective and efficient utilities and helped MPSEB with the challenge of transforming this organizational learning into their context and into their reform and restructuring process. The reorientation of the MPSEB organizational culture was a major challenge in the reform restructuring process.
