Energy Rehabilitation Project

The objective of the project was to rehabilitate the electrical distribution system, provide material and equipment to facilitate the rehabilitation and provide training in the use of equipment, line maintenance and construction methods.

Advisory services were provided by MHI. Duties included:

• Inspecting existing tools and equipment and provided a procurement list to meet project objectives.
• Assessing the make-up of existing line maintenance and construction crews and made recommendations for changes where required.
• Assessing work methods and developed a training plan.
• Recommending changes to construction standards in order to facilitate live work.
